Fantasy Football Scout
More than a decade ago Fantasy Football Scout launched its first first podcast – the legendary ScoutCast. Since then it has expanded to include an even wider range of expert opinion, stats and laughs to help you sniff out the likeliest clean sheets and best buys. Fantasy Football Scout’s podcast family has grown further in recent years to include captaincy and team news editions each Gameweek. Meanwhile, our regular Breakfast Club episodes add further analysis ahead of each deadline. There’s also our Meet the Manager series to check out – which sees us chat to Fantasy managers with a stellar track record of success.

Manchester City rotation and the fallout from Leicester City's remarkable 9-0 win over Southampton dominate the discussion in this week's Scoutcast.

David and Az have the perfect guest to reflect on the rout at St. Mary's, as they are joined by Foxes fan and Jamie Vardy captainer Andy Goddard.

Andy also reveals how he has ascended to the top of the FFS Mods and Cons mini-league despite - or perhaps because of - having no Liverpool and Manchester City representation.

There is plenty of airtime devoted to Pep Guardiola's maddening tinkering as the debate rages over how we handle the unpredictability of the champions' starting XIs.

A discussion on the defensive template also throws up various names, both budget and premium.

Andy takes his turn to choose a differential after the success of Joe's Neal Maupay pick, while David reveals the best teams for clean sheets.

There's plenty of roughs and a smattering of smooths as Az summarises the community's fortunes in Gameweek 10.

The trio’s transfer and captain plans are also unveiled as we prepare for the penultimate Gameweek before the November international break.

Joe and Luke get ready for Week 12 in Sky Sports Fantasy Football.

Man City rotation tops the bill while Pepe continues to frustrate.

Is Luke's faith in the Liverpool defence justified?

Meanwhile, Joe decides where to spend the extra £3.3m he's surprisingly found himself with. Could former favourite McGinn make way?

Fantasy Premier League managers are feeling particularly lost at the moment.

The template, of premium players and cheap assets, is simply not delivering. Arrows are turning red for most.

Has the FPL template disappeared? Or, is it there but so poorly performing that we can’t even see it?

Ahead of Gameweek 10 Joe, Neale and Karam attempt to find this absent FPL template.

A change at the back is needed, according to Neale, while Karam looks at the heavy hitter let downs and Joe proposes some new faces to spark the existing template back to life.

Along the way they attempt to find this year's 'Jiminez' and realise they don't have far to look.

Man City rotation also tops the bill, as the crew look to decipher Pep Guardiola’s latest team sheet clues.

Elsewhere, Joe takes his turn to choose a differential, Neale reveals the best teams for clean sheets and another smooth week for FPL’s number one also comes under scrutiny.

There’s still time for the trio’s transfer and captain plans to be unveiled as they hope the controversial template can finally deliver.

Joe and Neale dicuss the best captaincy candidates for #GW10 in #FPL.

Can we still trust Man City assets? What of the usually reliable Aubameyang? Can Liverpool's stars haul against Spurs?

David and Az are joined by Ted as they prepare for Gameweek 9 and beyond.

With Chelsea, Bournemouth and Manchester City assets to rely on they are hopeful of strong returns in Gameweek 9.

What could possibly go wrong?

A holidaying and Abraham-captaining Joe is absent for this episode but was around on social media the next day to chat about his Match of the Day Sunday Challenge attempt.

Arsenal's recovering stars are among key issues on the bill.

As ever the Pep rotation roulette wheel is looked at.

Fantasy Football fashionistas Joe, David and FPLFamily’s Sam attempt to second guess the next big trends over the coming Gameweeks.

Chelsea’s increasing array of young talent, Wolverhampton’s improving form and fixtures as well as Liverpool’s double up potential are among the next big things being tipped by our trio.

They also find time to wonder whether there really can be a better party than the one hosted by Norwich striker Teemu Pukki earlier in the season.

Sam has already left the forward's party, David is reluctantly staying put while Joe is insisting everyone keeps dancing. Could the marksman’s brace for Finland, as the show was being streamed live, herald a renaissance? Joe’s goals imminent table certainly suggests patience with the East Anglian based hit man.

Elsewhere, Leicester’s favourable long term fixture run is discussed and Sam coins a new ScoutCast phrase – “doing a David”. This refers to David’s transferring out of Foxes’ stars just before favourable form or fixtures.

Clean sheets, a particularly unlucky rough with the smooth entrant, as well as Gameweek 9’s captaincy and transfer plans are also on the bill.

In addition, there's a birthday, a pair of flares and praise for the entire town of Bournemouth.

Joe and David discuss the best captaincy options for #GW9 in #FPL.

With the international break almost over on our podcast duo are starting to look at the best armband candidates for the weekend.

Yet again differential options take centre stage, with Bournemouth and Chelsea among the teams offering this week's best captaincy shouts.

But what of Manchester City and Liverpool assets? Are the likes of Salah or Sterling still good options?

Joe is joined by Always Cheating podcast hosts Brandon and Josh to chat about their plans for the international break, Gameweek 9 and beyond.

Bournemouth assets are very much on their minds as the Cherries good fixture run continues into October.

Moving funds from defence into attack is another key topic especially considering that Brandon proudly boasts Jamie Vardy in his team, as Leicester prepare for a sensational set of matches.

This edition of Breakfast Club was recorded on Saturday 5 October as the crew also take in Gameweek 8’s matches and the Saturday lunchtime team sheets.

Are we witnessing the end of the early season template?

Liverpool have daunting fixtures and alternative captaincy shouts are emerging each week.

Meanwhile, Manchester City assets still look strong, but are beset with injury and rotation fears.

Could it be time to turn our attention away from the North West of England for our premium picks and instead towards the East Midlands and North London?

In this latest ScoutCast episode Joe is joined by Karam and Who Got The Assist's Tom to look back on Gameweek 7 and ahead to Gameweek 8 and beyond.

Topping the bill is the crew’s attempt to assess which premium priced and captainable assets to target and which to consider ditching.

By happy coincidence Karam is on the verge of Wildcarding and gives a sneak preview of his ambitious plans, as the second international break of the season approaches.

The ascent of Riyad Mahrez gets an airing as does a stock check on the promoted teams. It looks like Fantasy managers may have to look elsewhere for whipping boys, with the three top flight newcomers all exhibiting considerable promise.

Tom takes his turn to select a differential, the best clean prospects are examined and a Trainspotting analogy also feature in this packed 80 minute episode.
